JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Operate Digital Master Control equipment using broadcast automation software
•Monitor digital broadcast signal
•Take transmitter readings
•Record satellite feeds and copy over feeds to digital server for playback
•Ensure station operates within FCC regulations
•Other responsibilities as assigned

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:

•High School Diploma
•Master Control experience preferred
•Basic computer skills required
•Must work well with others, as well as the ability to work alone
•Should be able to work all shifts independently including overnights, holidays and

weekends. Schedule may vary
•Light editing and light maintenance experience helpful

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Procuring and maintaining advertising
– Knowledge of technology-updating and upgrading
– Determining program selections
– Work closely with engineering, management and vendors
– Delegate assignments
– Work with management to develop standard operating procedures and train personnel
– Provide support for producing content and station projects
– Budgeting, content and increase revenue
– Manage financial resources

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, performing physical activities that

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
Minimum 10 years management experience in the field
Minimum 5 years experience supervising in the field
Minimum 5 years of strategic market planning, with evidence of increased profit
Experience managing 10 people or more
Significant successful experience in managing
Previous experience in television production and programming
Knowledge of broadcast equipment and techniques. Operate studio equipment such as camera system, audio equipment including audio board, production switchers, graphics systems, and
video servers
Decisive, fast thinker
Proficient with computers
Perform with accuracy while under pressure
Flexibility to work various days and shifts

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications/Broadcasting
Minimum 10 years management experience in the field
Minimum 5 years experience supervising in the field
Minimum 5 years of strategic market planning, with evidence of increased profit

  • Internships are given to rising college juniors and seniors, Graduate students are also eligible for consideration
  • Currently earning a college/university degree in a Related Field and enrolled in an accredited educational institution
  • Available a minimum of 16 hours per week
  • Internship is needed in order to graduate
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required
