About the Position
Carolina Christian Broadcasting is seeking a full-time Master Control Operator to join our team at WGGS-TV. This role is essential to ensuring smooth, accurate, and reliable on-air operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate digital master control equipment using broadcast automation software
- Monitor on-air broadcast signals for quality and compliance
- Record and transfer satellite feeds to the digital server for playback
- Perform transmitter readings and maintain FCC compliance
- Provide light editing and basic technical support as needed
- Work a flexible schedule, including overnights, weekends, and holidays
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior master control experience preferred, but not required
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Comfortable working all shifts, including nights and weekends
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must pass a pre-employment background check

INTERNSHIPS
Eligibility:
- Internships are given to rising college juniors and seniors, Graduate students are also eligible for consideration
- Currently earning a college/university degree in Related Field and enrolled in an accredited educational institution
- Available a minimum of 16 hours per week
- Internship is needed in order to graduate
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required
