Dante Thompson is pleased to present Senior Pastor Todd Smith of Christ Fellowship as this evening revivalist during Nite Line two weeks of live studio revival! Musical accompaniment is provided by The Blankenships, who live and move and exist in God, and desire that all men should know Him, and know Him fully.
Pastor Todd earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Samford University, a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Faith Theological Seminary. With those degrees under his belt, and the love and support of his wife Karen, he has pastored for over twenty-five years in various capacities: engaging in missionary work, conducting crusades, and participating in in conferences in over twenty-five countries around the world! Not only that, but he has authored four books: 40 Days, I Found the Secret, Word Power, and He Sat Down. For the past six years he has served Christ Fellowship Church as their senior pastor.
Together, Eric Scott Blankenship, Kaitlyn Marie Blankenship, and Joseph Anthony Lovejoy make up the Blankenships.
Eric began singing with his mother, Regina, when he was only three years old. It was not long after that his mother and brothers began traveling with him and ministering as The Blankenship Family. They won the 2004 Favorite Mixed Gospel Group Award from the Music City Gospel Showcase. Not only that, but they were nominated by AMG Heritage Awards for the 2013 Favorite Mixed Group, Song of the Year, and New Artist of the Year! During their touring ministry they have been blessed to sing alongside some of the very best in the Gospel music scene, including: The Bowling Family, Ada Crabb, the Perry Sisters, and Mike Upright.
Kaitlyn began her music career at only four years old: her first performance was at a large concert in conjunction with the Bowling family, Adam Crabb, and the Perry Sisters, and her first recording was “Twinkle Twinkle, Little Star.” In the past few years she has begun taking the lead in various songs, and she was nominated for the 2013 Youth Artist Award by Heritage Gospel Awards.
Joseph was a miracle baby – his mother was informed she would never have children, but on July 17, 1990, Joseph came into the world full of joy. He also began singing at a young age, four years old, in front of his church’s youth class every Sunday. It was actually at a Sing where the Blankenships were performing that he received his vocation as a singer. Eric Blankenship called him up to sing a song with the group, but it was then that he realized it was actually God calling him to sing for Him
Tonight’s going to be a good night on Channel 16’s tent revival; don’t miss out!
